The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rivera doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Rivera tries to clinch but Kruger moves out of range.
Kruger tests Rivera's chin there with a solid looking shot.

It looks like Mountain Rivera has been cut.
Rivera tries for a takedown but Kruger sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Kruger jabs Rivera to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Kruger dips to his left and cracks Rivera with an uppercut!

Kruger pounces like a tiger and cracks Rivera with a vicious hook! Rivera is down but not out! Kruger follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!

A relieved looking Roman Kruger thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
