Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Billy Crabb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eazey Blaze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Billy Crabb!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Eazey Blaze!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Winston Alpacca and Santiago Holmes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Crabb shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Crabb was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Blaze is looking to reverse the position.
Blaze manages to work his way to half guard, despite Crabb's best efforts.
Crabb definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Crabb winds up and cracks Blaze with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Crabb is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Blaze wants to get back to full guard but Crabb has passed into side control.
Crabb landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
You can see the frustration on Blaze's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Blaze is not content to let Crabb control the position.
Crabb remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Crabb wants to free his trapped foot but Blaze is holding on for dear life with his legs.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Blaze is refusing to be controlled, as Crabb sits in half guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Crabb connects with a nice short shot to Blaze's temple.
Blaze wants to control but Crabb is keeping busy.

Crabb knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Blaze on the ground.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Crabb keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Blaze's head.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Crabb has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Blaze is proving hard to escape from.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.



Crabb shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Crabb showed some decent athleticism there.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Crabb slips a nice elbow through Blaze's hands, connecting with Blaze's forehead.
Blaze is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Crabb scores with a couple of nice shots.

Crabb postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Blaze is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Crabb scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Crabb wants to control from the top but Blaze keeps moving.

Crabb looking to sit in guard and control but Blaze gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Crabb on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Crabb tries to get out of the position.

Crabb looking for a sweep. Not yet Crabb, not yet.
Blaze stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Crabb swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Crabb is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Crabb is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Blaze can do to turn this around?
Crabb looking for a sweep. Not yet Crabb, not yet.
Blaze working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Crabb's head.

Blaze won't allow Crabb to get back to his feet.
Crabb is pulling down on Blaze's head. It's preventing any offense from Blaze, at least for the moment.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Crabb wants to stand up but Blaze is controlling him.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Blaze enables Crabb to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Blaze manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Blaze kicks Crabb off and gets to his feet.
Blaze doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Crabb counters by clinching up.
Blaze is breathing heavily.

Crabb breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Blaze gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Blaze thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Blaze working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Crabb doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Blaze is tightening it up a little... Crabb has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Crabb reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Crabb taps out! Nice BJJ there by Blaze!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Eazey Blaze!
