The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hunt moves out of range of the body kick.
Hardacre waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Hunt.
Hardacre misses with a lunging right hand
and Hunt counters with a good low kick that Hardacre was not able to check.
Hardacre uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Hunt.

and Hunt counters with a stiff right hand.
We've been told by Hunt's head coaches at LOD: Xtreme MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Hardacre.
Hardacre throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Hunt looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Hunt misses with a head kick.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hardacre rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Hunt counters with a stiff right hand.
Hunt bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Hardacre's head backwards.
A lazy left from Hunt finds it's target.

Hardacre has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Hardacre misses with an uppercut.
Hunt looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Hunt finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Hunt does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Hunt tried to counter with a leg kick but Hardacre avoided it.

Hunt cracks the inside of Hardacre's front leg.

Hunt throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.

It looks like Damian Hardacre has been cut.
Hardacre misses with an uppercut.
Hunt throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Hardacre fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Hunt is out of range.
Hunt misses with a looping left.
Hardacre just misses with a punch to the body.
Hunt feinted there with a counter leg kick.
Hardacre tests Hunt's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Damian Hardacre seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hardacre misses the shot to the body.
Hardacre swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Hardacre tries to close the distance and clinch but Hunt swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Hardacre's corner calls for a 1-2. Hardacre obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Hunt scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Hardacre doesn't seem bothered though.

Hardacre paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Hunt lands a nice looking kick to the body. Hardacre takes a step back to recover.
Hunt connects with a crisp jab.
Hunt throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Hardacre throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Hunt getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Hardacre is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Hardacre sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Hardacre takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Hardacre takes a shot right to the bread basket.

Hardacre fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hunt manages to avoid it.
Hunt works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Hunt throws a monster overhand right that drops Hardacre! Hunt follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
