Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Grin Ribber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Christian Edge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Ribber might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Ay Ay Ay. Edge has chosen For Heavy Metal we will die! as his entrance music. Grin Ribber could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Christian Edge's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ribber dives in and scores a takedown into Edge's guard.
We've been hearing that Ribber has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Ribber connects with a nice short shot to Edge's temple.

Ribber is looking for a triangle here but Edge uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

Edge has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Ribber can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Edge has his foot on Ribber's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Ribber works his way back into a safe position though.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Ribber shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Edge as he jumps to the side.

Ribber throws a chopping leg kick but Edge manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

Ribber was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.

Ribber wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Edge moves out of range as Ribber strikes.
Ribber swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Ribber fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Edge throws a nice looking combination but Ribber bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

I would just about give that final round to Christian Edge.
I think Edge has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Christian Edge spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
