Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Therrien dodges the punch combination from Tsvetanov.
Therrien looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Vasil Tsvetanov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tsvetanov throws a right hand that Therrien ducks under and follows up with a left that Therrien also avoids with ease.
Tsvetanov feints a jab promting Therrien to slip. Tsvetanov then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Therrien slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Tsvetanov throws a left and a right that both miss
and Therrien counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Therrien scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Therrien wants to lay and pray for a moment but Tsvetanov keeps working.

Therrien is trying for a kimura here. Tsvetanov looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Therrien wins by kimura!
