Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Adam McGee!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Chris Edwards and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGee fails to land the takedown.
Burton fails to land the takedown.
McGee shoots in but Burton avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Burton is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from McGee.
McGee misses with the combination.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

McGee moves into the clinch successfully.
McGee is looking for a takedown.

McGee shoots in looking for a takedown. Burton tries to sprawl out of it but McGee keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Burton manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Burton goes for a double leg but McGee avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as McGee continues to drive forward.

McGee throws a sloppy head kick and Burton moves out of range easily.

McGee lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Burton really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

McGee is trying to drag Burton to the mat but Burton just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
The referee is keeping an eye on Burton - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

McGee breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
McGee shoots in looking for a takedown but Burton manages to keep the fight standing, pushing McGee's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Burton seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Burton misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
McGee is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from McGee.
It appears Burton was looking to counter with a kick there.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

McGee shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Burton's guard.

Burton takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

McGee shoots in for a takedown but Burton shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Burton throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around McGee's waist but McGee gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Burton off to one side.
Micheal Burton has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Adam McGee is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
McGee tries to score a power double leg takedown but Burton sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten McGee somewhat.
