Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ron Borsen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 7 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Drew Wood!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Peter Branson and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Borsen gets the takedown into side control.
Borsen decides to stand up, so the ref orders Wood to his feet.
Wood misses with a head kick.
Wood shoots in looking for a takedown. Borsen tries to sprawl out of it but Wood keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Borsen manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Borsen closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Wood to the mat! Wood manages to get full guard.
Wood is trying to control the position but Borsen postures up.

Borsen darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Wood wants to improve his position but Borsen is controlling well.

Borsen drops an elbow to the side of Wood's head.

Borsen is working for a kimura but Wood is defending it quite comfortably.

Good shot there by Wood.
Wood fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Borsen avoids it really well and circles away.
Wood tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Borsen decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Wood's guard.
Borsen will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Wood controls Borsen momentarily but Borsen frees himself.
Borsen pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Wood is keeping the position for now.
Wood looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Borsen controls from within his opponent's guard.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Borsen shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Wood is trying to defend but Borsen finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Oooh a lovely combination from Wood sends Borsen down but not out. Wood dives into side control looking to finish.

Wood scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Borsen is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Wood can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
