Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kurita looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Cage shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Kurita manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cage wants to stand but Kurita is controlling his posture from full guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Cage accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Cage missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Cage has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

The strikes coming from Cage are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Kurita is not in a great position here, taking some shots.

Cage is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Kurita looks calm but he's in trouble here. Cage gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Kurita is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Cage lets go of the hold and Kurita can pop his arm back in it's socket.
