The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wake manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Warner on his heels. He'll look to pass Warner's guard now, I'm sure.
Wake trying to control but Warner is working from the bottom.
Wake is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Wake stops Warner from standing up.
Warner has his hands on Wake's head, controlling the position.
Wake stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Warner swivels though and keeps the full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Warner trying to keep a closed guard but Wake is proving a slippery customer.
Wake wants to control from the top but Warner keeps moving.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Warner looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Wake!
Wake sneaks back into half guard.
Wake slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Wake working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Warner doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Warner manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Warner is posturing up here but Wake has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Warner tries to roll out but it's too tight and Warner has to tap! Slick submission there by Wake!
