The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chekananwangi swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Chekananwangi looks to land a left hand but Bateman moved out of range nicely.
Chekananwangi just misses with a punch to the body.
Bateman throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Chekananwangi's head.
It looks like Nango Chekananwangi has been cut.
Bateman lands a jab to Chekananwangi's midsection.
Bateman changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Bateman throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Chekananwangi stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Chekananwangi takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Bateman cracks Chekananwangi with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Chekananwangi looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Bateman finish him?
Chekananwangi is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Chekananwangi swings away with a body shot that misses
and Bateman rattles Chekananwangi with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Chekananwangi tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Bateman dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Chekananwangi stiff and motionless on the mat!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Patrick Bateman!
