The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slow jab from Sung misses its intended target.
Sung tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Guile moves into range and lands a nice body kick.

Sam Sung seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Guile fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Sung.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Guile staggers Sung with a jab and knocks him down with a follow up straight! Sung looks in trouble, will he beat the count?! The count has reached 5 and he's only back to 1 knee - it's going to be close! 6,7,8 - he's up! Just in time and the ref is going to let the fight continue!

Guile lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Sung at a distance.
A punch lands to the side of Sung 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Sung is rocked!

Sam Sung's cut is getting worse.
Guile lands a right hook to the body.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Sung walks into a straight right hand and goes down! Guile rushes to a neutral corner so the count doesn't get delayed but Sung has made it back to his feet on 5. He's OK so we're back to the action.
Oh Sung is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
A head kick misses from Guile.
Sung seems to have got his legs back now.
Guile connects with an inside leg kick.
Guile shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Sung eats them both and turns towards Guile to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Andross Guile will get the nod in that round, having scored multiple knockdowns.

Sam Sung's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

Sung sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Guile throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
A chopping leg kick lands by Guile.
Sung avoids a kick to the body.
Guile tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Sung throws an overhand right that lands on Guile's shoulder, as Guile tries to avoid the shot.
Sung has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Guile.
Guile has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
