Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Ian Barns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Papito Anastasio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barns scores with a hook.
Anastasio ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Anastasio keeps the fight on the outside.
Anastasio looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Barns lands with a nice combination. Anastasio backs away looking to recover.

It looks like Papito Anastasio has been cut.

and Anastasio counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Barns will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Barns throws the left hand but Anastasio avoids the punch easily.

and Barns takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Barns's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Anastasio connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Barns scrambles back to his feet.

and Anastasio counters with a big uppercut that nearly lifts Barns off his feet! Barns crashes to the mat in all kinds of trouble! The referee starts the count but I'm not sure it's necessary - Barns isn't going to make it! The count reaches 10 and this fight is all over! Anastasio screams and throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmmm spit, everywhere. Lovely.
