The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Magnifico misses with a right hand
and Haller connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Haller lands a lovely overhand right.
Haller throws a shot to the body.
Haller smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Haller connects with the punch.
Haller takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Haller ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
A looping hook to the body misses from Haller. Magnifico does a little dance to reset his feet.
Magnifico keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Magnifico appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Haller looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Haller throws a hook to the side of Magnifico's head but Magnifico sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Magnifico takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Magnifico keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Magnifico has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Magnifico there as he acknowledges the shot.

Magnifico throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Magnifico steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Haller.
Magnifico walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Magnifico is still on wobbly legs! Can Haller finish him?
Magnifico walks straight into a perfectly timed right hook, crumpling him to the floor! Magnifico is in all kinds of trouble here - can he beat the count? 3,4,5,6,7,8,9....10 - he's out and it's by a long way too - he didn't ever look like beating that count!

David Haller is the new bantamweight champion!
David Haller decided to call for a title shot in his post fight interview, which was very strange given the fact this fight was for a title and he's already the champion. I guess that's what getting punched in the head does for you.
