Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chris Barath!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Shigeki Sano and Yukihiro Shimada.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barath stuffs the takedown.

Coleman closes the distance and clinches.
Barath lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Coleman or not.

Barath pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Barath shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Coleman as he avoids it easily.

Coleman is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Coleman breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Coleman works the jab nicely.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Coleman throws a series of punches but Barath avoids them all with ease.

Barath has Coleman up against the cage in a clinch.
Barath drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Coleman can't get the takedown.

Barath escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Barath shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Seth Coleman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chris Barath.

and Coleman counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Seth Coleman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

It looks like Chris Barath has been cut.

Coleman tries to keep at a distance but Barath has taken the fight into the clinch.

Coleman's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Barath backs away from a small jab... but Coleman lunges forward with a huge superman punch! Barath crumples to the ground as his mouth piece is sent flying! Coleman with a spectacular finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Seth Coleman!
