Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Pablo Pablos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tigey Maquigregor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pablos closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Maquigregor did well to prevent Pablos getting side control.

Maquigregor manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Pablos keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

Maquigregor is trying to push Pablos away but Pablos has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Pablos jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Maquigregor walks away with a smile on his face. Pablos gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That was a close round but I would say that Pablo Pablos will probably get the nod.

We've been hearing good reports from Pablos's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
