Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jeremy Stylez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wilson Carlos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carlos has chosen sujou meu pau foi de coco as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Jeremy Stylez has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Jeremy Stylez seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stylez throws a sloppy head kick and Carlos moves out of range easily.
Carlos looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Stylez gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Stylez keeps control of Carlos as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Stylez pushes off an throws an elbow but Carlos leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Carlos wants to get back to striking at distance but Stylez won't allow it.
Carlos is trying to break free.
Carlos is trying to break the clinch but Stylez has him pressed against the cage.
Stylez stalls.

Carlos breaks the clinch.
Stylez scores with a head kick. Carlos tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

It looks like Wilson Carlos has been cut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Carlos misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Stylez moves into range and clinches up with Carlos.
Carlos prevents a takedown attempt there.
Stylez is trying to break the clinch but Carlos is controlling him.
Carlos keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Stylez's efforts to push away.

Stylez is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

Stylez pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Stylez lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
We've been informed that Carlos has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Carlos has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Carlos looks to land a combination but Stylez avoids it well.
Stylez misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Carlos with the counter takedown but Stylez avoids it easily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
