Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gustav Marailov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Bunting (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marailov comes to the cage accompanied by Вставай. The crowd seem to be enjoying Bunting's choice of entrance music: Shell Shocked. John Bunting told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bunting walks into a straight right hand from Marailov.
Bunting swats away the attempt to clinch by Marailov.
Marailov seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Nice straight punches there by Marailov. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Marailov.
It looks like John Bunting has been cut.
Marailov darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Bunting wants to land a leg kick but Marailov is out of range.
Marailov drives through and clinches with Bunting against the cage.

Marailov tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Bunting avoids it.
Bunting swings away with an uppercut that misses.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Marailov creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Marailov breaks from the clinch.

Marailov rushes Bunting and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Marailov escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A combination from Marailov does no damage.
Bunting looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Gustav Marailov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bunting takes one to the chin there.
Marailov lands a big right hand that sends Bunting crashing to the mat! Marailov stays standing though and waves Bunting back to his feet!
Bunting is rocked!
That has opened up John Bunting's cut even more.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Both fighters circle each other, looking for something big. Marailov moves in and throws an overhand right. That hurt Bunting! Marailov continues to tee off on Bunting, landing with a left and a right! Marailov connects with a right hand that leaves Bunting sleeping against the cage! What a finish by Marailov!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Gustav Marailov!
In his post fight interview, Gustav Marailov started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
