Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rudi Dassler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gunnar Wylde (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wylde comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Black Label Society - Parade of the Dead kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Gunnar Wylde will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 12 - 0, fighting out of London, Rudi Dassler!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Gunnar Wylde!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Colin Fotheringham and Phil Schofield.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wylde throws a leg kick

and Dassler counters with a shoot takedown. Wylde fights it but they end up in guard.
Wylde is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Dassler dives into side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Dassler swings around for an armbar but Wylde sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Dassler's guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Wylde decides to stand up, so the ref orders Dassler to his feet.

Wylde has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Wylde lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Dassler has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Dassler and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Gunnar Wylde decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
