Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Sam Wilson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pierre Van Gogh!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Glass and James Atkins.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van Gogh throws a series of punches but Wilson moves out of range.
Wilson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Van Gogh sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Wilson somewhat.
Van Gogh throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Wilson sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Wilson changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Wilson throws a head kick but Van Gogh moves out of range.
Van Gogh wants to counter with a clinch but Wilson pushes him away.
Wilson ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Van Gogh has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Wilson does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Van Gogh wants to slow Wilson down by chopping away at his legs.

Wilson fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Van Gogh has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
