Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wabricio Ferdum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Numero Deux (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Ferdum might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to PARIS - the devil made me do it. Deux has chosen Post Party Depression as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ferdum cracks Deux with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Ferdum throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Deux stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
The fight stays on the outside here - Deux looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Ferdum fails to land with a series of punches.
Deux tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ferdum swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Deux has taken the fight to the clinch.
Deux throws an elbow but it misses.

Deux wants to get back to striking at distance but Ferdum won't allow it.
Ferdum tries for a takedown but Deux manages to get underhooks.

Deux lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Ferdum backwards.

Deux sizes up Ferdum with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Ferdum tries for a takedown but Deux sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
We've been hearing reports that Ferdum has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Numero Deux seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Deux jumps into guard, dragging Ferdum to the mat.

Deux must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Deux feints a jab promting Ferdum to slip. Deux then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Ferdum slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Deux tries to close the distance and clinch but Ferdum swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Deux moves in looking to clinch but Ferdum pushes him off.
A big left from Ferdum misses.
Ferdum walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Deux is looking to clinch but Ferdum is avoiding it.
Deux stuffs the takedown attempt from Ferdum. Ferdum gets slowly back to his feet.

Ferdum is just content to waste time from the top position. Deux takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Deux wants to improve his position but instead Ferdum has moved into half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ferdum content to control rather than advance.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Deux looks like he's trying to stand up.

No joy there for Ferdum, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Ferdum sets himself, and Deux steps forward looking for the clinch! Ferdum avoids it this time.
Deux is really turning it up, unleashing another crisp combination which drops Ferdum like a ton of bricks! The referee dives in to stop the fight, saving Ferdum from another fist facial!
