The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carnevore displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Phillips.
Carnevore lands a big right hand that sends Phillips crashing to the mat! Carnevore stays standing though and waves Phillips back to his feet!
It looks like Maxwell Phillips has been cut.
Phillips shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Carnevore sprawls well. Carnevore wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Phillips gets slowly back to his feet.
Crack! Carnevore connects with the perfect overhand right and Phillips falls face first to the canvas. Timbeeeeeeeer! Beautiful knockout for Carnevore!
