Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ray Miller!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Ben Zyskovitsi and Matti Vanhoillinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Keffnak lands with a cross.
Miller looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Keffnak has managed to clinch.
Keffnak really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Miller is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

Miller jumps guard.
Keffnak stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Miller swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Keffnak trying to control the position from guard on top but Miller is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Miller looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Keffnak wants to control from the top but Miller keeps moving.
Keffnak has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Miller is proving hard to escape from.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Miller holds on and takes a little breather.

Miller is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Keffnak throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Miller works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Keffnak wants to control from the top but Miller keeps moving.
Keffnak postures up and lands a big shot to Miller's brow.
Miller keeping moving, preventing Keffnak from controlling successfully.
Keffnak wants to pass the guard but Miller is keeping the position.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Keffnak has taken the fight to the clinch.
Keffnak manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Miller has Keffnak pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Miller pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Keffnak tumbling to the mat - Miller dives into Keffnak's guard.

Keffnak is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Keffnak is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Miller avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Miller wants to control from the top but Keffnak keeps moving.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Horrible takedown attempt by Miller or perhaps it was just good defense by Keffnak, which made it look bad.

Keffnak rushes Miller and presses him up against the cage.
Keffnak has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Miller after a bit of a struggle.
Keffnak unloads a knee to the mid-section.
Keffnak tries to pull guard but Miller won't allow it.
Miller letting Keffnak take a breather here.
Keffnak can't find room to land a body shot as Miller controls the action.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Miller is trying to drag Keffnak to the mat but Keffnak just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Miller is breathing heavily.

Keffnak seems keen to control Miller's posture.

Keffnak seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Miller stopping the sweep attempt from Keffnak.

Keffnak knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Miller on the ground.

Keffnak manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.

Keffnak is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Miller to keep the fight standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Romul Keffnak. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Keffnak lands a knee to the head.
Keffnak lands a body shot.
Miller is pressed up against the cage. Keffnak has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Miller down to the mat. Miller avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Miller shoots in looking for a takedown but Keffnak manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Miller's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Miller tries for a takedown but Keffnak sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Keffnak half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Keffnak lands with a kick to the temple. Miller shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

and Miller holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Keffnak trying to land knees to the body.
Keffnak blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Miller pulls guard effortlessly.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Miller is on top in guard.

Keffnak has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Keffnak wants to control the position but Miller says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
Ray Miller has got the better of the ground game so far.
Miller throwing shots but Keffnak is blocking nicely.

Keffnak is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Miller's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Miller's back!
Keffnak is hanging on to Miller's back as he tries to escape.
Miller staying busy and making it hard for Keffnak to control.
Miller trying to control the position but Keffnak manages to sink in the hooks.

Miller drops back looking for a leg! Keffnak is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Keffnak manages to kick Miller off! Miller jumps back into Keffnak's guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Miller dives in and scores a takedown into Keffnak's guard.

Miller got a little sloppy there for a moment and Keffnak has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Miller has managed to get both his arms back between Keffnak's legs - danger averted.
Keffnak looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Keffnak looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Miller stands and throws Keffnak's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Miller wants to control but Keffnak is keeping him busy.

Miller thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Keffnak is looking for a sweep.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Miller misses with the ground and pound.
Keffnak is looking to reverse the position.
Keffnak is trying to control Miller's posture but Miller avoids it.

Miller is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Keffnak knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Miller is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Keffnak has escaped the position, nice work there.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Keffnak, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
