The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hoppataki closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Hanson to the mat! Hanson manages to get full guard.

Hoppataki drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Hanson manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Hoppataki has Hanson in his guard.

Hanson stands and steps away. Hoppataki gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Hoppataki darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Hanson is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Hoppataki's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Hoppataki's back!
Hoppataki looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hanson is hanging on to Hoppataki's back as he tries to escape.

Hoppataki just trying to survive but Hanson is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
Hanson trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Hoppataki doesn't escape.

Hoppataki has hold of Hanson's leg, trying to break free but it's let Hanson lock up a rear naked choke! This could be big trouble! Hoppataki is turning an unusual color here… he's out! Hanson throws him to one side and jumps onto the cage to celebrate with his fans.
