Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ed Landry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ronald Fredrick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Landry comes to the cage accompanied by Ride Wit Me - Nelly. Fredrick comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Lil Jon & The Eastside Boyz: Throw It Up kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ed Landry!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ronald Fredrick!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Lou da Vinci and John Roberts.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fredrick shoots for a double leg takedown but Landry sprawls well. He's pushed Fredrick's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Fredrick scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Landry shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Fredrick but Fredrick pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Landry definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Fredrick takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.


It looks like Ronald Fredrick has been cut.
Landry takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Fredrick throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Fredrick is trying to pull guard but Landry turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Fredrick tries to score a body lock takedown but Landry shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Landry closes the distance and lands a one-two.

That has opened up Ronald Fredrick's cut even more.
Fredrick throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Landry is working the combinations to good effect here.
Fredrick takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Fredrick is trying hard to land a takedown here. Landry sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Fredrick throws a head kick but Landry moves out of range.
Landry dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Fredrick closes the distance but Landry moves to the side
and Landry connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Landry throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Landry cracks Fredrick with an open hand slap.
Fredrick throws a shot from downtown. Landry moves away and avoids it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fredrick is looking to clinch but Landry is avoiding it.
Fredrick fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Landry avoids it really well and circles away.
Landry feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Fredrick's calf.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Fredrick looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Landry swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Fredrick.
Landry goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Landry is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Fredrick can do to turn this around?
Landry connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Fredrick to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Landry!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:33 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Ed Landry!
Ed Landry spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
Ronald Fredrick spoke after the fight, saying 'I'll see you soon!!!'.
