The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Poulter misses with a right hand
and Poulter takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Poulter throws a right and a left that both miss.
Anderson appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Paul Poulter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Anderson just misses with a punch to the body.
Poulter checks the leg kick.

and Anderson counters with an outside leg kick.

Anderson lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Anderson takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Poulter swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Anderson counters with a nice uppercut.
Poulter lands a jab to the head.
Poulter wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Poulter misses with a looping left.
An attempted straight right counter from Anderson misses the target.
An inside leg kick lands from Anderson.

Poulter lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Anderson circles away quickly and effectively.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Anderson takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Poulter.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Anderson creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Poulter's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Anderson dips a shoulder and cracks Poulter with a mighty uppercut! Poulter falls back against the cage and Anderson unloads with a barrage of strikes! Poulter is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Anderson screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
