The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
DeVayne misses with a body kick.

DeVayne has taken the fight to the clinch.
Licinius wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but DeVayne has him pressed against the cage.
DeVayne tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Licinius tries to break free but DeVayne pushes him back against the cage.
Licinius prevents a body shot from DeVayne.
A head punch on the inside from DeVayne fails to land.
DeVayne tries a body shot but Licinius blocks it.
Licinius is pressed up against the cage. DeVayne has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Licinius down to the mat. Licinius avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
No luck with that takedown attempt from DeVayne.
DeVayne tries for a takedown but Licinius sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

and Licinius counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
DeVayne darts in looking for a takedown but Licinius gets double underhooks and turns DeVayne into the cage.
DeVayne shoots in looking for a takedown. Licinius tries to sprawl out of it but DeVayne keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Licinius manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Licinius lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

Licinius's corner calls for a 1-2. Licinius obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
DeVayne is still on wobbly legs! Can Licinius finish him?

DeVayne shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Licinius but Licinius pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Licinius seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Licinius ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
DeVayne seems to have recovered his senses.
Licinius swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
DeVayne doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Licinius counters with a crisp one two that drops DeVayne! Licinius thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves DeVayne to his feet! DeVayne is in big trouble!
DeVayne throws a lazy uppercut
and Licinius counters with a left and a right... and another left... and another!! That last one turned off the lights! DeVayne has no idea who he is and is as he gazes up at the spotlights. Brutal knockout!
