Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jason ReConnor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Sixx (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sixx has chosen Kickstart My Heart - Motley Crue as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
ReConnor stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and ReConnor wants it to stay on the feet.
Sixx looks for a takedown but ReConnor sprawls well.

ReConnor changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Sixx looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

ReConnor looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

ReConnor is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Sixx is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Sixx wants to control but ReConnor postures up.

ReConnor has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

You can see the frustration on Sixx 's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Sixx really doesn't want to stay on the ground with ReConnor. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

ReConnor has hold of Sixx 's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Sixx tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - ReConnor cranks the arm and Sixx screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Sixx , who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
