The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Richards throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Korhonen was covering up waiting for the punch and Richards finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Richards controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Richards throwing strikes but missing.
Korhonen trying to keep a closed guard but Richards is proving a slippery customer.
Richards slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Richards cracks Korhonen with an elbow. That is naaassty.

It looks like Olavi Korhonen has been cut.

Richards is working Korhonen over with some ground and pound from side control.
Richards throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Richards lands a strong strike to the head of Korhonen. That's dazed him! Richards looking to finish here. Korhonen is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Richards lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
