Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Noah Knox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trenton Reuter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Trenton Reuter will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Noah Knox!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Trenton Reuter!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Trevor Gratis and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Reuter has closed the distance and engaged Knox in a clinch.
Reuter goes for a takedown attempt but Knox pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Reuter fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Reuter shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Noah Knox has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Trenton Reuter.
Reuter looks winded!

Knox manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Reuter on his heels. He'll look to pass Reuter's guard now, I'm sure.

Knox decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Reuter pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Reuter is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Knox.
Knox swats away the attempt to clinch by Reuter.
Knox with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

Knox wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Knox closes this distance looking for a takedown but Reuter circles away.
Knox fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Reuter manages to avoid it.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Reuter is defended easily by Knox.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Reuter enables Knox to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Reuter manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Knox would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Knox stands up and waves to Reuter to follow him.

Knox moves in looking to clinch but Reuter pushes him off.
Reuter changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Knox tries to avoid it but Reuter manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Knox to the ground. Knox escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Knox goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Knox throws a series of punches but Reuter avoids them all with ease.
A head kick misses from Knox.
Knox tries to score a power double leg takedown but Reuter sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Knox somewhat.

Reuter blocks a head kick by Knox.
Knox goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Reuter moves in looking to clinch but Knox pushes him off.
Knox seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.

Knox drives through with a takedown into guard.

Reuter has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Knox is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Reuter.

Knox is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Reuter knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Knox decides to stand back up. Knox steps back and let's Reuter get back to his feet.
Knox shoots in but Reuter avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Reuter throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Knox was covering up waiting for the punch and Reuter finishes the takedown easily into guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Noah Knox dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Knox moves in looking to clinch but Reuter pushes him off.
Knox is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Reuter can do to turn this around?
Reuter closes the distance and clinches up with Knox, looking for a takedown. Reuter pushes Knox against the cage but Knox circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Knox fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Reuter to the ground. Knox is now in Reuter's guard.
Knox is standing up over Reuter. Reuter looks to escape but Knox dives into side control.
Reuter is breathing heavily.

Knox decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Knox could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Knox stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.

The fight stays on the outside here - Knox looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Reuter shoots in for a takedown but Knox shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Reuter fails with a takedown attempt.
A shot to the liver by Knox. Beautiful body shot.
Knox throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Reuter stuffs the takedown.
Reuter steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Knox.

Knox closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Reuter's guard.
Reuter is wriggling around but Knox manages to pass to half guard.

Reuter is trying to maintain the position but Knox is very close to passing his half guard.
Knox blocks the strikes from Reuter.
Reuter wants to control but Knox is keeping busy.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!


Reuter leaves Knox with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Knox throws a nice looking combination but Reuter bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Reuter shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Noah Knox is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Reuter dives in and grabs Knox's left leg, looking for a takedown. Knox pushes down on Reuter's head and hops out.

Knox is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Reuter's half guard.
Reuter tries to kick Knox off in order to stand up. Knox Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Reuter takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Knox wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Reuter, who protects the arm well.

Knox slows the pace down.
Reuter is looking for a sweep.

Knox decides to stand back up.
Knox turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Knox doesn't manage to clinch there - Reuter circles away.
Knox closes this distance looking for a takedown but Reuter circles away.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Reuter shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Knox throws a big counter combination but Reuter scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

Reuter dives in for a single leg takedown but Knox sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Knox went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

Knox clinches up with Reuter and pushes him back against the cage.
Knox jumps guard but Reuter stands there with Knox around his waist. Knox gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Knox escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Well Knox has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
