Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Peter Willy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Manny Ramirez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Ramirez's choice of entrance music: Jay Z - Show me what you got. Manny Ramirez will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Winston Alpacca and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ramirez darts in and clinches Willy up against the cage.
Ramirez tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Willy smiles and moves away.
Ramirez moves into range and clinches up with Willy.
Ramirez prevents a body shot from Willy.
Willy is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Ramirez is defending well.
Ramirez wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Willy tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Ramirez's elbow.
Willy misses with some punches.
Ramirez wants to break the clinch but can't.
Ramirez avoiding damage as Willy throws knees to the body.
Ramirez drops down looking for an ankle pick but Willy pulls his leg out and moves away.
Ramirez has managed to clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ramirez throws an elbow but it misses.
Willy drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Ramirez gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Ramirez is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Willy is keeping busy.

Ramirez escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Ramirez throws a combination. Willy tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Ramirez forces Willy back against the cage and clinches.
Willy has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Ramirez is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Peter Willy. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Willy throws a head punch that misses.
Ramirez is trying to pull guard but Willy turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Willy misses with the head strike.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Willy.
Willy doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Willy is working for takedown but Ramirez is calmly controlling the position for now.
Ramirez drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Willy gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Willy throws a punch but it's blocked by Ramirez.
That's two minutes gone in the round.

Willy leaves Ramirez with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Ramirez tries to break the clinch but Willy is controlling the position.
Ramirez prevents a takedown attempt there.
Ramirez tries to pull guard but Willy holds him up against the cage and eventually Ramirez drops back down to his feet.
Ramirez pulls guard successfully.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Willy pushes down on Ramirez's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Willy seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Ramirez really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Willy. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Willy perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Willy lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Willy wants to pass to mount but Ramirez is defending the position.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Willy is nestled in close to Ramirez, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Willy connects with a nice short shot to Ramirez's temple.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Willy is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Ramirez is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
