The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Taro Takaoka and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wagner ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Wagner lands with a shot to the body.
Monira shoots in looking for a takedown. Wagner tries to sprawl out of it but Monira keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Wagner manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Nice takedown defense from Wagner. No joy for Monira on that attempt.
Wagner throws out a powerful jab.
Monira with a poor takedown
and Wagner counters with a straight right hand.
Micke Wagner has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Polavic Monira.
Monira will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Wagner is stalking Monira. Monira circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Wagner, and it's lights out! Monira really payed the price for that rookie mistake.
