Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Sixx (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luis Gendozo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sixx kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Kickstart My Heart - Motley Crue. Gendozo has chosen Bill Withers - Lean On Me as his entrance music. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Luis Gendozo!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Shigeki Sano.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gendozo gets a double leg takedown into Sixx 's guard.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Sixx seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Gendozo for as long as he can get away with.

That was a close round but I would say that Ryan Sixx will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Gendozo shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

We've been informed that Gendozo has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

Sixx closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Luis Gendozo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Sixx closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Gendozo's guard.
Gendozo lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Sixx is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Gendozo can do to turn this around?
Sixx seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Gendozo tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Gendozo is looking to take a break and control but Sixx is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Sixx on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Sixx tries to get out of the position.

Gendozo tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Gendozo has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Gendozo has hold of Sixx 's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Sixx seems comfortable defending it but Gendozo has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Sixx is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Sixx is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Gendozo couldn't care less - he's delighted!
