Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jacque Sirven (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Piotr Andenowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jacque Sirven!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Piotr Andenowski!
The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Thiago Cunha and Emerson Jorge.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sirven changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Andenowski tries to avoid it but Sirven manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Andenowski to the ground. Andenowski escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Sirven dives in and grabs Andenowski's left leg, looking for a takedown. Andenowski pushes down on Sirven's head and hops out.
Andenowski throws a body shot but no joy.
Jacque Sirven seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sirven fails with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jacque Sirven. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Sirven fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Sirven avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Sirven shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Sirven looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Andenowski really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sirven. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sirven throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Sirven perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Sirven in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Andenowski tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Sirven!
