Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Stone Killer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cortez Iverson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Stone Killer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Cortez Iverson!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Santiago Holmes and Michael Johnstone.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Killer dives in and grabs Iverson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Iverson pushes down on Killer's head and hops out.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Killer.
Killer slips under a jab.
Iverson throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Killer sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Killer fails with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Stone Killer. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Nice sprawl there from Iverson as Killer shoots in.

Killer looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Iverson is fending him off so far but Killer persists. Nope, Iverson circles away and we're back to standing.
Iverson throws a shot from downtown. Killer moves away and avoids it.
Killer moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.


It looks like Stone Killer has been cut.
Killer fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Killer shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Iverson napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Iverson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Killer. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Killer has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Killer misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Killer tries to score with some ground and pound. Iverson controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Killer creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Iverson sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Killer is putting a hurting on Iverson here, landing some big shots from side control.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Iverson takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Iverson parries the strikes from Killer easily there. Killer is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Iverson to escape.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Iverson has momentary wrist control but Killer slips an elbow through the middle.
Iverson is still in real trouble! Can Killer finish him?
Killer connects with a couple of short punches.
Killer loads up on a big left hand. Iverson felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Killer looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Iverson can't hide his disappointment, as Killer celebrates the victory.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:51 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Stone Killer!
A relieved looking Stone Killer thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
