Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Grover Lara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randy Savage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Randy Savage is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Grover Lara!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Randy Savage!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Frank Dennis and Stewart Dunkirk.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Savage misses with a two punch combination.
Savage tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Savage takes the fight into the clinch.
Lara is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Savage is defending well.

Savage breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Savage dives in and scores a takedown into Lara's guard.

Lara pushes Savage off and gets back to his feet.
Lara could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Savage shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Savage really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lara. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Savage is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Lara defends it well.

Lara tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Lara looks like he's trying to stand up.
The fighters are battling for position here. Lara manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Savage drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Lara manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Savage has Lara in his guard.

Lara drops back looking for a leg! Savage is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Savage manages to kick Lara off! Lara jumps back into Savage's guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Lara gets to his feet. Savage looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Lara tries to clinch up but Savage circles away and keeps his distance.

Savage rushes Lara and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Savage trying to control the position but instead, Lara has worked for underhooks and has pushed Savage into the cage.

Savage breaks the clinch.
Lara uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Savage shoots for a double leg takedown but Lara sprawls well. He's pushed Savage's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Lara shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Savage as he jumps to the side.

Lara dives in and scores a takedown into Savage's guard.
Savage avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Savage is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Lara is aware though and is defending well.
Savage looks winded!
Savage has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Lara has passed into side control.
Lara scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Savage to see if he's OK.

Lara tries for a kimura but Savage is defending well.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Savage tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
Lara trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Lara content just to control the position here.
Lara lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Savage hang on?
Savage trying desperately to get to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Grover Lara dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Savage fails with an attempt to clinch.
Lara swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Savage fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Savage shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Lara as he avoids it easily.
An attempted straight right counter from Lara misses the target.

Lara gets a takedown into half guard.
Savage pushes Lara off but Lara dives into side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Lara in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Savage is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
