Olson comes into the arena with Bleed It Out- Linkin Park blaring out of the sound system. Will Olson could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Mostafa Amer's chin.

With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mostafa Amer!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Alexandre Firmino and Felipe Paraventi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Olson lands with a right hand.
Will Olson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Olson cracks Amer with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Amer has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Olson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Amer tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Olson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Olson connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Amer! He's out on his feet! Olson rushes in and drops Amer with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
