The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pavelic looks to score with a jab to the body but Wildslap is just out of range.
Pavelic cracks the inside of Wildslap's front leg.
Pavelic digs a good body shot into Wildslap's ribs.
Pavelic misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Pavelic connects with a leg kick. Wildslap looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Pavelic scores with a hook to the body. Wildslap takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Wildslap has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Pavelic.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pavelic throws a head kick but Wildslap moves out of range.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Wildslap has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Wildslap has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Pavelic.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Pavelic is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Wildslap has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Pavelic is looking to defend but Wildslap has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Pavelic! Wildslap pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Pavelic taps out and this one is all over!
