Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kurt Christian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gregg Hatsup (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gregg Hatsup will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hatsup fails with an attempt to clinch.

Hatsup gets caught napping as Christian dives in and scores a takedown. Hatsup manages to retain guard.

Hatsup is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Christian is aware though and is defending well.

Hatsup is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Christian is just riding it out for now. Hatsup eventually gives up the hold.

Hatsup fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Christian manages to avoid it.
Christian shoots in but no luck this time.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Christian feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Hatsup is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Christian presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
