Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Keyser Soze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hiroshi Ekaku (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these fighters are unbeaten, so somebody's 0 has got to go!Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hiroshi Ekaku!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Anthony Taglia and Dean Styles.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Soze digs a good hook to Ekaku's body.
Soze jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Ekaku throws a looping overhand right but Soze ducks down to avoid it.
Soze misses with a kick to the body.
Soze connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

and Ekaku counters by moving into the clinch.
Ekaku misses with the head strike.
Ekaku goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Soze is looking to control Ekaku's arms but Ekaku gets an underhook and turns him. Now Soze has his back to the cage.

Ekaku has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Ekaku is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Ekaku isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Soze stacks Ekaku on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Soze!

Ekaku jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Soze walks away with a smile on his face. Ekaku gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Keyser Soze has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hiroshi Ekaku.

and Soze makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Ekaku really felt that one!
Ekaku uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Soze.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Soze.

Soze does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Soze fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Ekaku on the side of the head.

Hiroshi Ekaku showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
