Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Settakian Fett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wally Markberg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Markberg has chosen Public Enemy - Rebel Without A Pause as his entrance music. Wally Markberg is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Paul Gruel and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Markberg with that takedown attempt.
Fett slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
It looks like Wally Markberg has been cut.
Fett uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Markberg.
Fett throws a counter high kick but Markberg was just alert enough to avoid it.
An inside leg kick from Fett misses.
Markberg uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Fett has time to react.
Markberg tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Fett paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Markberg misses with the combination.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Markberg moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Markberg lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Nice defenses there by Fett.

Markberg slips a straight right by Fett.
Fett lands a nice looking kick to the body. Markberg takes a step back to recover.
Markberg tries to score with a low kick but Fett moves his leg out of the way.
The fight stays on the outside here - Markberg looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Fett manages to break the clinch.

Fett fires out a quick counter leg kick but Markberg just manages to avoid it.

Fett motions for Markberg to come forward. Fett throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Fett stalks Markberg and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Markberg's face. Markberg staggers backwards, shaken.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Markberg fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Fett manages to avoid it.
Fett wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Fett throws a quick inside leg kick.
Markberg misses with a looping right.
Fett was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Markberg throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Fett takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Fett cracks the inside of Markberg's front leg.
Fett shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Markberg tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Fett was well out of range. Poor timing from Markberg.
Fett dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Markberg. That did some damage!
Markberg misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Fett.
Fett dodges the punch combination from Markberg.
Fett scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Markberg swings widly with a right hand
and Fett counters with a good low kick that Markberg was not able to check.
Fett sends Markberg crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Fett is motioning to the referee to let Markberg up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Markberg is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Markberg is looking to clinch.
And Fett counters with a quick kick to the body but Markberg blocks it.
Markberg is still on wobbly legs! Can Fett finish him?
Fett darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Markberg's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Fett before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Settakian Fett!
