Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jack Merel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jen Lasto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Jen Lasto was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Merel throws a right hand that Lasto ducks under and follows up with a left that Lasto also avoids with ease.
Lasto moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Lasto has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Merel throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Merel throws a combination. Lasto tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
The crowd cheers as Lasto lands an impressive looking overhand right. Merel doesn't seem phased though.
Lasto takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Merel just misses with a punch to the body.
Merel misses the jab.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Lasto feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Merels jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Jen Lasto seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lasto throws a series of punches but Merel avoids them all with ease.
Merel went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

Lasto looks to land a combination but Merel avoids it well.

Merel is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Merel throws a quick inside leg kick.
Merel misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Merel throws an overhand right that lands on Lasto's shoulder, as Lasto tries to avoid the shot.
Lasto gets hit by the mother of all head kicks and drops to the canvas in a crumpled heap! Woooow, the Internet is going to be talking about this one for weeks!
