Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dom Defranco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Greco Hackman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Hackman. No joy for Defranco on that attempt.
Defranco looks for a takedown but Hackman sprawls well.
Hackman throws a low kick, looking for Defranco's leg but Defranco calmly moves out of range.
Defranco throws a right and a left that both miss.
Defranco dives in for a single leg takedown but Hackman sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Defranco is looking for a sweep. Hackman is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Defranco fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Hackman shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Defranco's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

What can Defranco do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

Hackman is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Defranco knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Defranco for a finish.

Greco Hackman showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Hackman is staying tight to Defranco's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Defranco knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hackman on the ground.

Hackman is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Defranco will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
