Coming up we have a super heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Tchort Abbadon and Artimus Angar. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

In the red corner, competing out of New York, with a TWGC record of 3 wins and 1 losses; Tchort Abbadon! And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 3 wins and 0 losses; Artimus Angar!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Radbod Blank and Aafke Stam.


The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Abbadon has taken the fight to the clinch.

Angar jumps guard.

Abbadon is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Angar is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Angar has escaped and now he's on top!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Angar is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Abbadon is just riding it out for now. Angar eventually gives up the hold.

Angar avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Abbadon has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Angar can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Abbadon has his foot on Angar's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Angar works his way back into a safe position though.

Abbadon is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Angar defends well.

Abbadon is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Angar rolls with it to try and escape but Abbadon cranks on the arm and Angar is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 6:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Tchort Abbadon!
A very excited looking Tchort Abbadon rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
