The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Armstrong is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
A combination from Armstrong does no damage.
Stefanov has Armstrong up against the cage in a clinch.
A hook to the body from Armstrong.
Stefanov successfully pulls guard.
Stefanov looking for a sweep. Not yet Stefanov, not yet.
Armstrong drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Stefanov manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Armstrong has Stefanov in his guard.
Stefanov connects with a couple of short punches.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Stefanov working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Stefanov keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Armstrong's head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Armstrong is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Stefanov stands up from Armstrong's guard - Stefanov perhaps looking for a knockout.
Stefanov clinches with his opponent.
Stefanov lands an uppercut.
Stefanov blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Stefanov tightens his grip and picks Armstrong up, before dumping him to the ground. Armstrong manages to land in guard.
Stefanov tries to free his leg and advance position but Armstrong is retaining full guard.

Stefanov has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Stefanov slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

It looks like Geraldo Armstrong has been cut.
Stefanov works to advance to full mount. Armstrong defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Armstrong is rocked!
Stefanov has isolated one of Armstrong's arms. Armstrong looking to fight him off but Stefanov twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
