Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Anthony Taglia and David Schapiro.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pierno swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Pierno throws a right and a left that Ryan avoids nicely.
Ryan swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Pierno loads up on a big right hand but Ryan slips the punch.
Pierno works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Ryan tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Ryan tries to clinch but Pierno is having none of it.
Ryan takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Pierno swats away the attempt to clinch by Ryan.

Ryan closes the distance and clinches.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Pierno swings wildly with an uppercut but Ryan uses good head movement to avoid it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Pierno throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Ryans head.
Ryan prevents a body shot from Pierno.
Pierno throws a punch but it's blocked by Ryan.
Ryan blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Ryan wants to stall.
Ryan misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Pierno.
Pierno working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Pierno tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Ryan's elbow.
Ryan wants to get back to striking at distance but Pierno won't allow it.
Ryan misses with some punches.
A short uppercut from Pierno.

Ryan breaks from the clinch.
Ryan takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Pierno darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Pierno has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Pierno closes the distance and clinches.
Pierno lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Ryan backwards.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Pierno creates a bit of space and cracks Ryan with an uppercut that drops him to the canvas! Ryan is wobbled and seems to be struggling to get back to his feet. 3,4,5. He's up! Phew, his manager will be relieved but they're no doubt wondering whether he'll be able to recover properly and get back in the fight!

Ryan is rocked!
Pierno swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Oh Ryan is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
BAM! Pierno delivers a spinning backfist that drops Ryan like a ragdoll! This is all oooooveeeer! He was out before he hit the ground!

After winning the bout, Andre Pierno thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
Paul Ryan spoke after the fight, saying 'I will be back'.
