Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Evan Cole!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Alyssa Summers and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Cole counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Cole tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Johnson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Johnson instigates a clinch.
Cole wants to break the clinch but can't.
A right hand to the body from Cole.
Cole misses with a hook from the clinch.
Johnson looking for a takedown.
Cole is trying to break free.
Cole lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Johnson tries to circle away but Cole has him pinned against the cage.
Cole lands with a right to the head.
Cole pushes Johnson back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Cole breaks from the clinch.
Cole throws a sloppy body shot
and Johnson counters with a left and a right that stings Cole.
Johnson throws a combination that misses
and Johnson takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Cole throws a good cross that connects.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Cole uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Johnson has time to react.
Johnson is looking to land body kicks.
Johnson takes one to the chin there.

Cole lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Oh Johnson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Johnson is breathing heavily.
Cole lands a big right hand that drops Johnson! The killer instinct kicks in and Cole finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Cole!
