The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
PorKvartir misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Hood shoots for a double leg takedown but PorKvartir sprawls well. He's pushed Hood's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Hood moves to clinch but PorKvartir breaks away
and PorKvartir counters with a three punch combo that has Hood backing up. Hood nods at PorKvartir to acknowledge the strikes.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Hood.
PorKvartir throws a counter combo.
A head kick misses from Hood.
PorKvartir unleashes a big counter combination but Hood bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
PorKvartir feints with a jab and clips Hood right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Hood is sent crashing into the canvas and PorKvartir leaps in for the kill! Hood tries to get to his feet but PorKvartir is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Hood is in need of a savior and steps in!
