The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sloan tries to sprawl but Olegav drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Sloan knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Olegav on the ground.
Sloan is trying to stand up here but Olegav is controlling him well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Olegav is working for a submission of some sort.
Sloan tries to roll over but Olegav keeps him under control.

Olegav is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Sloan has managed to free his arm - good work.
Sloan is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Olegav keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.

Olegav looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Olegav is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Sloan has managed to free his arm - good work.

Sloan wants to control but Olegav is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Sloan really is a fat lump.

Olegav is looking for a kimura but Sloan is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Olegav to get the leverage.
Olegav frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Olegav prevents Sloan from getting the reversal.

Olegav has hold of Sloan's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Sloan manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Olegav working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Sloan turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Olegav off and cradles Sloan's limp body as Olegav celebrates with his corner.
