The crowd seem to be enjoying Robichaux's choice of entrance music: Abuse de moé. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Robichaux fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Robichaux jabs Pate to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Robichaux throws a right and a left that both miss.
Pate fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Robichaux avoids it really well and circles away.
As Pate backs off Robichaux throws a huge counter combo but Pate manages to avoid it all.

Robichaux lands a big uppercut and Pate crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Pate looks OK. Robichaux waves Pate back to his feet!

Pate is rocked!

It looks like Oscar Pate has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Robichaux tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Oh Pate is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Robichaux moves into range and clinches up with Pate.

Robichaux pulls guard effortlessly.

Robichaux has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Pate off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Robichaux is throwing punches like he's double parked. Oh my word! Huge right hand from Robichaux shuts the power down on Pate. Lights out, game over! Robichaux is your winner.
