Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Len Walsh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dennis Reynolds!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Aafke Stam and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Reynolds looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Walsh is pressing down on Reynolds's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Walsh had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Reynolds defends it easily.
Reynolds is looking to work some ground and pound but Walsh has wrist control.
Reynolds must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Reynolds shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Walsh's guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Reynolds closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Walsh to the mat! Walsh manages to get full guard.

Walsh working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Reynolds doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Reynolds manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Walsh is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Reynolds stands and throws Walsh's legs to the side, diving into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Reynolds shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Walsh napping and manages to drive through into side control!

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!


Reynolds tries to clinch but Walsh is having none of it.

Walsh has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Walsh there as he acknowledges the shot.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Walsh, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
